[VIDEO] 2025 Corvette ZR1 Dominates at Pocono Roll Racing Event

We got another video featuring the Rapid Blue 2025 Corvette ZR1 owned by Mike from StreetSpeed717 and the good news is that it’s still available to watch! We only say that as our first attempt to feature his rare-spec ZR1 ended with the original video being taken down unbeknownst to us, but this one looks like a keeper!

Mike entered the car in a RaceMotive roll racing event at the Pocono International raceway, and we finally get to see what it can do when officially let of the chain at the track event.

Mike says on the drive in that he made a simple mod to the car which he hopes will get him more speed and you can see in his rearview camera mirror that the ZR1’s visible carbon fiber rear wing is missing. Mike said it took just four bolts to remove and the process was relatively easy! As we see the car inside a pit garage, it has just the two stubby mounting points exposed.

When he first arrived at the event, it was still very foggy out and he wasn’t sure exactly how much track time he would get. Soon the pause was lifted and he rushed out to be one of the first three cars out onto the track. That weather pause ended up being a good thing as he says the Race Motive events are very popular and he would only get a handful of passes had it been a sunny day. But because the threat of bad weather kept many racers home, he was able to get in multiple passes against some very fast vehicles.

However, instead of focusing on the cars he was racing, Mike was more interested in what times he could lay down, especially in the 60-130 mph metric which was being captured by his Draggy. He ended his day on a high note with his fastest 60-130 mph time of 4.75 seconds. When he returns home, he provides a quick recap of the day’s events and he says he thinks he may have won the Corvette class during the event.
