Latest Production Updates for July 2025 plus Changes to the Order Guide

With the 4th of July weekend now behind us, I do have a couple of “quick hits” I can share.

The Corvette Assembly Plant closed on Monday, June 30th for its planned two-week summer holiday, so no production until operations resume on Monday, July 14th. I had grabbed the latest production VINS for our appearance on the CORVETTE TODAY Podcast this week. Those numbers also include the percentages of each 2025 model built.

As always, our numbers come Roger Kiel’s C8 Production Tracker on Facebook. By the way, if you have a car scheduled for production, Roger’s tracker is fun to follow the daily progress of completed VINs until your big day arrives. The current count of 2025 VINS and their build percentage is:

13,144 Stingrays (55%)
7,825 Z06s (33%)
2,886 E-Rays (12%)
65 ZR1s (0.2%)

That’s a total of 23,920 Corvettes built so far in the 2025 model year. We figure the plant will most likely produce another 2,500 or so remaining 2025 Corvettes in the 15 days of production available once they return. Once the model year is complete, we’ll wait for the NCM and GM to get together on how many Captured Test Fleet (CTF) cars will be added for the official 2025 model year totals. The 2025 model year ends on Friday, August 1st and the 2026s will start on Monday, August 4th.

We do believe this week will start the ordering process with allocations for 2026 models coming on Thursday and then ordering commencing the following week. We are hoping to hear some guidance from General Motors on how they will be treating those 2025 ZR1 orders who have been bumped to the 2026 model year. The other piece of info we are waiting on is when we can expect to see the Corvette Configurator online for 2026 builds. Stay tuned!

2026 Corvette Order Guide Updated

The GM Fleet Order Guide has been updated with some additional 2026 Corvette info this week. The three new Aero/Wheel/Brake combo packages for the Z06 are now listed and will be available on all equipment groups. We pointed out last week how these combination packages will save Z06 buyers some money. Unfortunately, those savings are offset by the $5,600 increase in the cost of the car for the new model year.

Z06 Exterior section-Added (PDB) Carbon Fiber Wheel and Brake Package, includes (J57) carbon ceramic brakes and choice of one of the following wheels set: (ROY) 20″ front/21″ rear Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber wheels, (ROZ) 20″ front/21″ rear visible carbon fiber wheels, or (STZ) 20″ front/21″ rear visible carbon fiber wheels with Red stripe. It is “A” on all equipment groups.
Z06 Exterior section-Added (PDD) Z07 Carbon Flash Aero and Wheel Package, includes (Z07) Z07 Performance Package, (T0F) Carbon Flash-painted Carbon Fiber Aero Package, (CFZ) Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber ground effects, and choice of one of the following wheels set: (ROY) 20″ front/21″ rear Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber wheels, (ROZ) 20″ front/21″ rear visible carbon fiber wheels, or (STZ) 20″ front/21″ rear visible carbon fiber wheels with Red stripe. The LPO V8X Visible Carbon Fiber sill plates for the Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, and ZR1 are now listed as “Not available at this time.” The dealer added option is restricted for those with 3LT/3LZ trim.

The LPO RYQ Visible Carbon Fiber door intake trim for Stingray and Z06 is now listed as “Not available at this time.”

The LPO 5V5 Visible Carbon Fiber spoiler for E-Ray and Z06 is also “Not available at this time.” The dealer added option is restricted for those with 3LZ trim.
