[VIDEO] The First 2025 Corvette ZR1 Arrives at Ciocca Corvette


It’s always an exciting day when taking delivery of a new Corvette! However, in this case even the Chevy salesmen were excited to head outside and take a look for themselves, because this was the first 2025 Corvette ZR1 to be delivered at Ciocca Corvette of Atlantic City.

Our friend Jeff ‘Zipity’ Duda was all set for the arrival of the new King of the Hill and he captures it from the moment the auto transporter pulls into the dealership. There is definitely no mistaking which one is the ZR1 despite them all being wrapped in the transport covers. That because only the Corvette ZR1 has that carbon fiber wing that stretches those white covers wide like a spoiler. I wonder if that contributes to the downforce on the back of the trailer?

Once the car is off the transporter, it goes into a new car delivery bay where it’s unwrapped. The car is a beautiful spec with it being a Black Split Window Coupe with the Blue Stripe, Blue Wheels, and the Jet Black interior with Blue Stitching. It wasn’t ordered with ZTK, but it was ordered with the Carbon Fiber Aero Package.

Jeff takes a few minutes to walk around the car, and we see the two-camera setup over the rear license plate which is where the rear-view camera is now located. The previous location is now gone due to the high wing, so we don’t have to worry about that camera cover like we saw on a CTF car.

Just one last point. Our friend Dave Salvatore always loved to compare the new cars with the previous or similar when they first arrived, and he did this with Corvette colors all the time. Here, Jeff picks up the mantle and shows the ZR1 back-to-back to a new Z06 with its high wing. It’s almost crazy how much larger that ZR1’s wing is when you see them like this.

  3. This wing comparison was a good thing to do. The Z06 wing was considered exceptionally high and wild in 2023. But this new ZR1 wing gives one reason to pause before checking the option box. Still, I will probably get it to make it easily distinguishable from other models. Before we read the mud throwing at that rationalization, we need to recall that the Z06 wing was probably useless and a waste of money for street driven Z06 cars – and we have seen plenty of those around, right? Good thing we have a choice. Don’t buy the option if you don’t like it.
