It’s looks to be official! The 2025 Corvette ZR1s are now shipping to customers!
We told you last Saturday that Rick Hendrick’s VIN 001 Corvette ZR1 had officially made it to his flagship City Chevrolet dealership in Charlotte. Now we have another Corvette ZR1 delivery to share, this one going to our friends at Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, Michigan.
A video of the car was shared to social media showing the arrival off the truck and then removing the ZR1’s shipping cover before it undergoes the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) as its prepped for delivery to the customer. It’s an interesting exercise to see how they remove those covers from the ZR1, which includes opening the frunk radiator hood.
The Competition Yellow Corvette ZR1 is spec’d as a Split Window Coupe with the body color spine down the middle of the rear glass. Surprisingly, it doesn’t have the Carbon Fiber Aero Package which is marked by the High Wing, Front Dive Planes, and the taller Gurney Lip on the Frunk. We reached out to our friends at the Corvette King and they tell is its VIN 015!
The video was posted to Dearborn and Metro Detroit News on FB and Instagram and the original poster offers this description:
@lesstanfordchevroletcadillac in Dearborn is the first Michigan dealer to receive the all-new 2025 Corvette ZR1 — the most powerful Corvette ever made. With a twin-turbo 5.5L V8 producing 1,064 horsepower, the ZR1 marks a new era of American performance. (AD)
As we mentioned in our post about the 2025 ZR1 order details, the Competition Yellow ZR1s are the third most popular of the first year C8 ZR1s with 39 orders in the system. 29 of those are Coupes while 10 are Hardtop Convertibles.
