[VIDEO] It's Corvettes versus Camaro and Mustang at the Drag Strip

We got some good racing to share with here featuring two Black Corvette Z06s from previous generations taking on a Camaro ZL1 and a Mustang GT, both of which are outfitted in Red. One of the things about these racing videos is that the action is over pretty quickly. Here we got four races back to back, and this video isn’t even two minutes long. So, it’s Black vs Red… let’s get to it!

The thumbnail featuring the first race is what brought us to here, and it was an exciting one for sure as both the Red Camaro ZL1 and the Black C7 Corvette Z06 are powered by the same motor…the mighty 650-hp LT4 V8 engine. This showdown happened at the Orlando Speed World in Florida, and it was over in just a little over 11 seconds. The loser of this race was only a few tenth of a second slower, so watch the lights to see who gets the win.

Our second race goes a little deeper into Corvette’s history with a Black C6 Corvette Z06 making an appearance against a Red Mustang GT at Bradenton Motorsports Park located south of Tampa Bay. I had high hopes pinned to this C6 as this cool customer showed up with racing slicks on the rear. The Mustang got the Corvette on the launch, but would it be enough to finish off the Z06?

The third race was a repeat of the first with the Black Corvette Z06 and the Red Camaro ZL1 going head-to-head. Both of these cars are extremely quick, and this one was once again settled by just a few tenths of a second as well.

And finally, back to Bradenton for another run between the C6 Black Z6 and the Red Mustang GT. Despite the Mustang once again out-lauching the Z06, this contest was over once the Z06’s accelerator pegged the floor with the Corvette taking the win by over a full second.
