Chevrolet promised the 2025 Corvette ZR1’s Build and Buy Configurator would be released today and it’s now live! However, as we have seen in previous rollouts, the full functionality of the configurator is incomplete as there is no pricing for the individual models just the options. So while I can see my individual options and those prices on the page, my total build price is not available. Apparently, that is due to federal law about advertising vehicle pricing as GM is still waiting on the fuel economy numbers and the anticipated gas guzzler tax that will come with it.
That didn’t stop me from building several ZR1s including this beauty in the new Competition Yellow tintcoat. I purposely built the car with a ton of options just for kicks, and when you are finished and go to the summary, you can just add it all up with your calculator. For those that want to go through this exercise, here are your starting model prices without shipping as the configurator adds that in separately:
• Corvette ZR1 Coupe 1LZ – $173,300
• Corvette ZR1 Coupe 3LZ – $184,300
• Corvette ZR1 Convertible 1LZ – $183,300
• Corvette ZR1 Convertible 3LZ – $194,300
My sample ZR1 adds all the goodies for ZR1 including the ZTK package and the Carbon Fiber Aero, along with the visible carbon fiber wheels. When it was all complete, I added up my build which comes in at $237,835 without taxes, tag and registration. Unfortunately, that price will go higher as we don’t have the Gas Guzzler price which should be greater than the $3000 charge for the 670-hp Corvette Z06.
Since the launch of the new online configurator last year, the site makes it easy to save your builds and you can give that code to your dealer rep so he can see all the options that you have added. Make sure you go through it with a fine-tooth comb before submitting to your dealer.

I ordered my Z06 back in November and the dealer still doesn’t know when it will be delivered. He is thinking March now.
Why are they depicting the yellow as gold? Certainly they could do a more representative shade, but they are choosing not to do so.
That site is for YouTubers only. Regular Vette people need not look at it since Chevy doesn’t care about you.
