As someone who grew up in the Midwest, it’s times like this (and only this) that I miss seeing snow on the ground. As a teenager, I hooned my old ’72 Pontiac Catalina in more parking lots than I can remember. So when I saw that someone was getting ready to do it in a Corvette, I was all in.
I was so hoping this would be an E-Ray video when I first caught the title, but surprisingly, it’s a Stingray. After all, we’ve seen what happens when Stingrays are driven in heavy snow before. The YouTuber is Donslife and he says he took several precautions in getting his “crispy” Stingray ready for the snow. This “winterized” Stingray has the following:
• Full paint protection film
• Extended Mud Flaps
• Extended Fender Trim (flares)
• Flat Underside Panels (standard on C8s)
• Winter Tires
Don shows the while snowy landscape that makes up his subdivision and says that there was little-to-know salt on the roads due to the extreme cold temperatures. “After all, it’s just frozen water,” says the Corvette owner.

In this video I have a little fun documenting my C8 Corvette being driving in the winter. Snow is not an issue for this sports car
