This Corvette wreck in Kentucky certainly lived up to the name of the county where it happened.
After the two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in McCracken County, this vintage Corvette was definitely all “cracked” up – especially the hood and passenger side front end.
Fortunately, even though the Corvette driver had to be carried to the hospital for treatment, reports indicated she didn’t suffer any incapacitating injuries.
Deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office say the accident happened around 1:50 p.m. at New Holt Road and North Friendship Road when a white 1979 Corvette driven by Patricia Fondaw of Benton, Kentucky struck a 2008 Toyota Highlander driven by Issac Turner of Paducah, Kentucky, who was pulling onto New Holt Road from a local business and wound up on top of the Corvette’s front fender.

Sad… glad no one was hurt, but that is one totaled Vette…

That is not a pretty sight.
I was the driver of the Vet. Had I not jerked my car to the left, officer say I may not have lived through this accident. The other driver was 18, and ended up with his bumper coming through my windshield on passenger side. Upon impact I was thrown even with seat belt on, I hit his bumper with the side of my head. The picture with his Highlander on my car is after he backed out of the window. I may have lived but the headaches, hip, and back pain are no joke. I actually have 3 appointments due to this accident tomorrow. This baby may be totaled, I guarantee the photos I have are far worse that the 1 people see.
