Is that Corvette stolen? Only idiots abuse a car doing donuts if it is stolen.
C1TOC8, I have to disagree, these are not “Driving Miss Daisy” cars. Although not the best car to being doing dry pavement doughnuts with as the mid engine design and driving aids (even when switched fully off, they are not really fully shut off) don’t make as easy as a front engine design. My previous car which was a Viper would donut on a dime.
The driver appears to be doing this on private property and if you ever been to Ron Fellows driving school there an entire segment devoted to this.
Funny, me and my buddy were the only one in the Blue group that actually did donuts as the rest of the class stopped when the cars spun more than 180 degrees.
We were doing 720’s all the time and driving out of it on the figure eight course, and my instructor said to me it lots like you have done this before and was quite enjoying the ride. I said it was all the driving in Canadian winters that gave us that skill.
These cars are designed for abuse and fully warrantied by GM if you have the Z-51 package.
I say have safe fun in this car, as this is what they are designed for, but just keep it civil on public roads and take it to the track if want to go full out.
