Chevrolet reached out to their dealers today with allocation numbers and early constraint info for the November 2024 order cycle. The ordering window opens next Thursday, and hopefully those of you waiting will get the call from your dealer.
As per usual, we reached out to several dealers to see what kind of numbers they were getting. While we can’t share exact numbers, it’s our impression that Stingrays were a little less than usual, while E-Ray numbers were higher. The good news is that our informal poll shows all three models are available.
Chevy also provided some constraint info to dealers, and it’s the usual suspects. For the Stingray, it’s just the Q9I Gloss Black Wheels that are available in limited quantities. The Z06 is being impacted with its Carbon Fiber Aero and Ground Effects packages. What we’ve been told is that the quantity of the High Wings in both Carbon Flash and Visible Carbon Fiber are at about 70% availability, but the CFV/CFZ Ground Effects are only at 20% availability. The E-Ray is clear of any constraints during this cycle.
Chevrolet has shifted the Corvette Order Cycles back to a once-per-month basis, so this is it for November and there will be just one cycle in December to close out the year. Speaking of December, we had news late last week that the Corvette Assembly Plant will face an extended holiday closure of three weeks over Christmas/New Years. The plant will close after its 2nd shift on Friday, December 13th and reopen on Monday, January 6th.
