Constraints for the September 2024 Corvette Order Cycle

We’ve got a Corvette Ordering Cycle happening this week and this one hits a little closer to home as I am one of those whose orders has been matched to an available allocation. Details to follow on that, but with the ordering opening up, that means we also have constraints to deal with. Here are the reports we got back regarding this week’s constrained options.

Probably the biggest constraint affecting orders is that Sebring Orange Metallic is still not available at all across all three models. It’s still listed as a startup constraint with 0 availability. The Z06 also appears to be suffering from Carbon Fiber issues as the High Wing and Ground Effects in both painted Carbon Flash and Visible Carbon Fiber are constrained, but still available in limited numbers, as are the Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

In the good news department, we see that the Stingray’s Z51 vs base controlled release is no longer on the constraint list, and Hysteria Purple Metallic is also now available across the board as well.

2025 Stingray
• Sebring Orange (0)
• Competition Yellow
• Habanero Interiors
• 1LT Trim Package
• Q9I Gloss Black Wheels

2025 Corvette E-Ray
• Sebring Orange (0)
• Competition Yellow
• Habanero Interiors
• CFV/CVZ Ground Effects

2025 Z06
• Sebring Orange (0)
• Competition Yellow
• Habanero Interiors
ֳ• T0F/TOG High Wings
• CFV/CVZ Ground Effects
• J57 Carbon Ceramic Brakes
• SOA Black Spider Wheels.

The expected Target Production Period for these orders is 10/7/24 – 10/13/24.

Chevrolet did start building the 2025 models on Monday, September 9th, and from our understanding they started those later in the day after finishing up on the last 2024 models.

Unofficially, we are looking at a total 2024 production of 30,902 Stingrays, 10,549 Z06s and 1,249 E-Rays for a total of 42,700 Corvettes in the model year. These again are unofficial numbers and we’re looking forward to getting the full download from the National Corvette Museum in the next few weeks or so.

As for my car, it will be a 3LZ Hysteria E-Ray Convertible with Sky Cool Gray two-tone seats. This is the first time I have ordered a new Corvette and the order process has definitely been an eye-opening experience. I’ll keep you updated on it.

  1. Congratulations on your new Eray order. Will be a nice spec with your color and interior choices.

  2. I was going to say the exact same thing as Raymond310. Congrats. You picked a very cool looking color combo.

  3. So the gist is that, again, GM discontinued 2024 colors/options–and didn’t have the 2025’s ready to go. “Color” me shocked.

    p.s.
That was basically what I’d wanted for an ER, except in AYM. And GM gave me the middle finger. But the difference here is that I will bet significantly more than $1 that there will be considerable amount of 2025 ER’s (and other models) in Hysteria with SCG interior. There are almost 0 2024 ER’s in AYM over SCG.

Good on you for getting what you want. I doubt very much Hysteria sticks around for 2026.

  4. Thank you for the update and congratulations on landing the E the way you wanted it! Agree customization is not a given these days.
