Back in January 2023, Chevrolet revealed their first-ever performance hybrid Corvette E-Ray on the 70th anniversary of the Corvette’s public reveal, and production started this January for customers. Now, Chevrolet dealers in the Middle East are opening their order books to offer the Corvette E-Ray to a select few customers.
With its combination of the rear-mounted 495-hp 6.2L V8 engine and the front-mounted 160-hp electric motor, the Corvette E-Ray delivers a staggering 655-hp combined. This electrified Corvette offers breathtaking performance as its capable of 0-60 mph in a little as 2.5 seconds, making it the quickest Corvette in history.
The AWD C8 Corvette E-Ray will be offered in the Middle East in both Coupe and Convertible configurations, with only the 3LZ trim packages available. Starting prices for the E-Ray in the United Arab Emirates are AED 574,000§ for the Coupe ($156,296 USD) and AED 599,900§ for the Convertible ($163,104 USD).
Aspiring owners are requested to contact their nearest Chevrolet showroom or visit Chevroletarabia.com.
The E-Ray will join the C8 Corvette Stingray and Z06 which are also available at Chevrolet dealers in the Middle East. In 2023, Chevrolet exported 277 new Corvettes to the Middle East market, which included 260 Stingrays and 17 Z06s.

E-RAY Does nothing for me sell them all there !!!!
Too bad the E-Ray isn’t available to people in the Mid-West.
Predictable and right on time @Bob. Can’t have a dang article about the ER without Bob telling us all for the 9,000th time that he hates them.
@David is 100% spot on. WTF is GM even offering ANY widebody C8’s for sale outside of the USA? Especially the ER, where they aren’t even going to hit 4 figures produced for 2024 MY. It’s machinations like these that have pretty much solidified my aversion to ever buying a Corvette–least of all a brand new one.
We still have Z06’s being marked up to the moon because the supply isn’t there. ER is even worse on supply.
Why Imports and Exports matter to you:
The volume and nature of imports and exports deeply affects the American economy. Imports and exports can also affect a country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Its exchange rate, and its level of inflation and thus the interest rate.
Please note, the C8 Corvette platform is truly an international product, perhaps we should encourage GM to export them?
Many thanks,
Ray
