Constraints for the First May 2024 Order Cycle

The order bank is open today for another round of 2024 Corvette Stingray and Z06 orders. Dealers received their allocation numbers (estimated shipments) last Thursday and today they can either match those to a customer order or submit a Dealer Stock Order for inventory.

Now that we are in May, we’ve been expecting General Motors to provide some direction to the Chevy sales reps on the course of action for exactly when the 2024 model year will be ending and when the 2025s will be starting up. Speaking with a dealer sales rep today, he tells me that GM has provided no additional information via the “dealer deck” since July of 2023. They aren’t even highlighting the changes announced for 2025 publicly at the NCM Bash, so unless your dealer has their ears to the ground, you probably know more about the 2025s from the limited release of info at the NCM Bash last week.

And speaking of the Bash, the Corvette Team shared three new colors, and it’s safe to assume that at least two of the current colors are going away (Accelerate Yellow and Amplify Orange). If you’re hot for one of these colors, you might want to get that order submitted before the buildout info is released and production for these existing colors becomes limited.

As for constraints for the first May 2024 order cycle, it’s mostly the same as the last order cycle although we do have something new for the Z06. Here they are:

• Non-Z51 Base (197)
• 1LT Trim Package (87)
• Q9I Gloss Black Wheels (87)
• 5ZU Stingray High Wing in Body Color (0)

2024 Corvette Z06

• J57 Carbon Ceramic Brakes (134)

Nothing again for E-Ray as they were no additional allocations added last week.
