Constraints for the First April 2024 Corvette Order Cycle

It seems like it was forever ago, but it has only been two weeks since Chevy sent out a round of Corvette Stingray and Z06 allocations to dealers. The reason for the delay of course was the Good Friday/Easter holiday which would have fallen smack-dab during the actual order banks being open. So now we are ready for dealers to start matching those allocations to customer orders, or more likely as it relates to the Stingray, dealers will be placing orders for dealer stock.

We got the list of constraints for this go-around, and I’ll start right away with the good news which is there are NO constraints for the Z06! If your dealer has a Z06 allocation with your name on it, you can order it exactly how you want it! It’s been a long time coming, but for those who wanted all the visible carbon fiber, it’s yours for the taking!

As for Stingray ordering, we still have a split offering between the base cars and those with the Z51 Performance Package. Your dealer was given a specific number they can order of each, and it varies by order cycle.

Now that we got that settled, there are only two real option constraints for the Stingray and they are the repeat offenders that have been on this list for the last few cycles. The constraints for this April order cycle includes the Q9I Gloss-Black 20-Spoke Wheels and the 5ZU LPO Stingray High Wing that’s painted in one of three body colors (White, Red, and Blue).

So that does it for this constraint report, and believe us when we say the shorter, the better for everyone!

  1. Hi Keith:

What’s your best guess on when the 2025 Stingray’s will be available to order, and when will they start production? What will change? Will the price stay the same?

    Thanks,
    Jon

  2. Hard to say Jon. However, we will get clues as we get closer because GM will issue a last order date for whatever colors are going to be retired. Once that happens, we’ll have a better idea of the model year changeover.

  3. its ridiculous the Q9I wheels and high spoiler have been on constraint for over 2 years – what the heck is wrong with GM

  4. What about the 5ZW Spoiler for the Stingray? When will GM let me order the car with it?
The part number (85104131) is available from GM parts. But you can’t order a Stingray that
it will fit on? The 5ZW Spoiler option is on the order sheet but GM will not accept your order if
you check the box for the 5ZW Spoiler? I cant find any explanation why?

  5. Yes, it is ridiculous! They offer three styles of the 20-spoke wheel, so how hard is it to paint them black. You would think these would be the easiest color to paint.
