[VIDEO] Boost District Shows Off World’s Fastest Supercharged C8 Corvette Stingray

Now that we are in Year 5 for the C8 Corvette Stingray, many owners can now take the opportunity due to the cars no longer being under warranty to start adding some mods for MORE POWER! While turbo setups were popular in the early years of the C8 as a means for boosting horsepower, the supercharger manufacturers have caught up as evidenced by this video from Boost District.

Boost District is an authorized Lingenfelter Performance dealer and we learned about them via their partnership with the 2024 Corvette Dream Giveaway. Boost District will be taking that grand prize 2024 Corvette Stingray and adding a Lingenfelter/Magnuson Stage 1 Supercharger for 725 horsepower. But something tells me for this video, we’re going to see a little more than 725 horsepower out of this “world record” Corvette.

This Corvettes does have the Magnuson 2650 supercharger on the “built” LT2 V8 and it has been making upwards of 900 horsepower. While we are told that the ECU is stock, for this test session they were able to get in there and reprogram the launch control functions and actually set the launch parameters back after nearly snapping their transmission. They believe a softer launch off the line will allow them to put the power down sooner instead of spinning the wheels and possible damaging the transmission when at least 850 lb-ft of torque hits it.

For the Stingray’s first run, the biggest problem is that the car wants to pull wheelies. And in fact, it does it twice on the run. “Looks sick,” he says, but “not what we are looking for.”

For the second run, the car still wants to lift but the rear wheels hook up really good and he runs 9.97 seconds at 146.83 mph. “That’s the fastest supercharged C8 Corvette out there right now for damn sure,” says the driver.

We’re not sure what the record was prior to this run, but we figure that Boost District would know since they are “in the business” of knowing what the current record is.
