[VIDEO] Hooning the C8 Corvette Z06 in the Desert

If there is one thing I know about Corvette enthusiasts, there are going to be some people whose heads might explode after watching this C8 Corvette Z06 hooning in the desert with a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6.

For the uninitiated, Wikipedia defines a Hoon as an Australian term describing a person who deliberately drives a vehicle in a reckless or dangerous manner, generally in order to provoke a reaction from onlookers. I learned that word back in my early days of blogging when Jalopnik was still cool, and I’ve been using it ever since.

So, are you feeling provoked?

This video was posted to the RaceExotics channel who offers supercar drives, poker runs and other “random exotic car shenanigans” according to their description. Looking through their videos, about three months ago they reviewed a very clean 70th Anniversary Z06 for their channel, and sure enough, we can see the 70th Anniversary badge on the side of this wrapped Z06 towards the end of the video.

We also see a Torch Red C8 Stingray show up, but only as a spectator. Following the ferocious donuts on the rocky lakebed, the fellas get together and we see that the Z06’s side intake is filled with large rocks. I bet I got your attention with that pic!

Seriously, we know that this would probably be a lot of fun, and especially if its someone else’s car! I wonder if Cody Bulkley could cyclone spin an E-Ray out there?
