Top 10 Corvette Dealer Sales for 2023

This morning we received a list of the Top 10 Corvette Dealers and their sales for December 2023 from one of our contacts at GM. With those new sales figures, we are able to provide you with the Top 10 Dealers for 2023 as well.

MacMulkin Chevrolet is once again crowned with the title of “World’s Largest Corvette Dealer” with their performance in 2023. During the calendar year, MacMulkin outpaced all other dealers and their performance last month was a “December to Remember” as they sold double the amount of cars vs Ciocca Corvette by a count of 183 to 91. For the 2023 calendar year, MacMulkin sold 1,684 new Corvettes which far outpaced the 1,179 sold by Ciocca.

The top two dealers are a juggernaut compared to the rest of the list. Running some numbers shows that 52% of all Corvettes sold by the Top 10 Corvette Dealers happened at MacMulkin and Ciocca. MacMulkin themselves account for 31% of all Corvettes sold by the top 10 dealers.

After the top two dealers are accounted for, we have Criswell Chevrolet/Mike Furman in third place with a total of 560 Corvettes delivered for the year.

Last month in the November 2023 Sales Report, we noted that there was a possibility of a shake-up at the bottom of the top 10 list and that did happen with the number 10 spot. Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth was knocked off the list by Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine, TX who ended the year with 171 Corvettes sold.

Here are the Top 10 Corvette Dealers for 2023 along with their December 2023 sales and 2023 CYTD totals:

We’ll have this up in a separate post shortly, but GM has also released its 4th Quarter sales numbers this week and it shows a total of 34,353 Corvettes were sold in the USA last year. With 5,441 Corvettes attributed to the Top 10 dealers, that means only 15.8% of all Corvette sales in the United States occur at one of these elite dealerships. That’s why we always suggest that you also discuss with your local or regional dealership about ordering a new Corvette, especially as the market has changed quite a bit in the last year and Stingray ordering is a lot less restrictive than it was just a few months ago.
