Two-time Heavyweight Champion of the World, Olympic Gold Medalist, famed purveyor of fat-wicking grills, Christian minister, and prolific reproducer, George Foreman is one of the most interesting and charismatic public figures in American history. What few people know about the punching pitchman is that he is a car fanatic with a soft spot for American iron. Through his boxing career and business ventures, Foreman has amassed an estimated $440,000,000 net worth. Like any true car enthusiast, Foreman has put a great deal of that money into his expansive barn of four-wheeled toys. Now, at the age of 74, he has decided to partner with Hagerty and its new online vehicle marketplace to list more than 50 of his prized rides for auction between now and December 21st, 2023. No domestic-heavy car collection would be complete without representatives from the Crossed Flag family of Corvettes, and, aside from a leopard-print flame phase that Big George seems to have gone through in the late ’90s, this assortment doesn’t disappoint!

1961 Corvette

These start with a stunning Tuxedo Black 1961 with Sateen Silver coves and Red interior. Under the hood lurks the most powerful non-fuelie available: the mighty 270-horse twin four-barrel carb 283, which is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. True mileage is unknown, but the odometer reads only 9,808. Offered at no reserve with 27 days on the clock, Foreman’s C1 is sitting at just $32,000 as of writing.

1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe

Next up, we have what is arguably the most desirable car under Foreman’s guardianship – a 1963 Split-Window Coupe. Gleaming in Sebring Silver over red, this ’63 features the four-speed manual transmission and powers its rear wheels with the famed fuel-injected 327. This auction isn’t live yet, but it will certainly be of interest to the Mid-Year faithful out there.

1991 Callaway B2K Convertible

Last but certainly not least, Foreman is parting with a very notable piece of C4 history in his 1991 Callaway B2K Convertible. This Red final-year B2K boasts 403 HP and a still-eye-popping 575 lb.-ft. of torque from its twin-turbo L98 V8. George Foreman has owned this performance heavyweight from new, and he only amassed 6,832 miles since taking delivery. With an original “Corvette + $33,000” sticker totaling $89,859, the Foreman Callaway wears number 57 out of an approximate run of 71 Corvettes comprehensibly upgraded by the Connecticut super tuner in ’91. Like the rest of the collection, this drop-top beast is being offered at no reserve and has only reached $30,000 early in its bidding period. Interested parties have until the afternoon of December 11th to throw their hats in the ring for the Foreman collection’s fastest ‘Vette!
