Both shifts at the Corvette Assembly Plant were idled on Wednesday due to a temporary parts supply issue. We reached out to the assembly plant and were told that operations are expected to resume on Thursday.
This is the second week in a row that workers had to stay home due to parts supply issues. Last week it was the 2nd shift on Tuesday evening and the first shift on Wednesday that was impacted by a lack of castings or cradles depending on the source.
As of November 7th, the assembly plant has already completed 4,749 Stingrays and 1,376 Z06s for the 2024 model year. No customer E-Rays have yet to be completed.

BS!! They are slowing production because the new Vette is now selling below MSRP
They just can’t figure out how to make castings. After 4 years you should get better not worse.
