[VIDEO] Corvette Engineers Were Also Driving a 2023 Corvette Z06 While at the Nurburgring

During the recent stint of testing the ZR1 Corvettes at the Nurburgring, our spy photographer had told us that the team was also driving a 2023 Yellow Z06 Coupe on the track as well. This is an American-spec car with the Z07 performance package, and it features the quad-center exhaust.

Our spy photographer in Germany just posted this video featuring the production-ready supercar, and he was telling us that the drivers were taking the Yellow Z06 out to the track daily where it would run between 5 to 8 laps per session. Unfortunately, like the ZR1, the Corvette team did not book any track time to run an official timed hot lap with the car on a clear track.

We also see the driver in this Z06 appears to be Oliver Gavin once again based on the dark blue and orange helmet we see.

  1. That color should be called “safety yellow” so people can see it and get out of the way as it passes them doing 150.
