[VIDEO] Black 2023 Corvette Z06 Hits the Ground Running in Japan

Back in June, Chevrolet Japan announced that ordering would be opening up for the C8 Corvette Z06, but there was a catch…all Z06s initially offered in Japan were Black Coupes with Adrenaline Red interiors.

Today we got another look at the right hand drive C8 Corvette Z06 which appears on Chevrolet Japan’s YouTube channel.

While Google’s translate function can be somewhat wonky at times, we got a very readable translation from the video’s description and title:

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 | Racing Machine “C8.R” Perfection!

Based on the success of the Corvette C8.R, which participated in harsh endurance races such as IMSA and WEC and won numerous victories, the Corvette Z06 was developed by utilizing its knowledge and experience. The midship-mounted naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 DOHC “LT6” produces 646PS, which is 144 PS more than the conventional model! The wide-body exterior and thorough aerodynamics are all features a circuit-ready approach.
