Leading up to last weekend’s IMSA race at Road America, the only Cacti Green E-Ray we’ve seen is the show car with the contrasting carbon flash trim that was on display during the NCM Bash back in April. But one visitor to Road America came across this Captured Test Fleet 2024 E-Ray wearing the new for 2024 color and shared it on Reddit.

Despite our initial reservations for the light green exterior, there does seem to be a number of enthusiasts who have embraced Cacti as the comments show here on the reddit post. I’ve built a couple of Cacti Green E-Rays with the configurator and will admit the color is growing on me as well. We are glad to see the car was captured under the bright sun, and perhaps Chevy was correct in that the color needs just a little more contrast with the carbon flash trim to really work.

The E-Ray coupe appears to be configured with many of the standard options that include the base Pearl Nickel wheels, gray brake calipers, black badges, and bright exhaust tips. The CTF sticker is visible on the lower windshield.

The first round of constraints for the 2024 model year announced at the end of July showed that there were zero Cacti Green units available for the Stingray and Z06. Ordering for the E-Ray begins next week on August 17th, and we are hoping to see the new colors become available for the performance hybrid sports car.

  1. i’m hoping for that call on 8-17……. my dealer has my build sheet & just waiting for the gate to open…. hurry , i want to feel 2.5 ……….

  2. It looks like a Transparent or Opaque Green in the sun. It might work for some Corvette enthusiasts but it’s not for me.

  3. Looks like Biden’s ‘green’ initiative has infected the Vette. The only folks who will buy this color are the eVette greenies so everyone will know it’s an eVette. Color reminds me of puke.

  4. I am glad that the color exists but not sure that it is for me. Congrats to Chevy for taking some chances and keeping it interesting.
