It was during the NCM Bash this year that we learned Kai Spande was leaving his position as the Plant Director for Bowling Green Assembly Plant. Taking his place is Raymond Theriault.
We haven’t seen hide nor hair of Raymond since he started at the plant on June 1st. The 29th Anniversary Celebration coming up later this month at the National Corvette Museum will be our first opportunity to hear from the new plant director, and his Thursday morning seminar is one we’re looking forward to.
However, we did get to see Ray’s new 2024 Corvette E-Ray as these pictures captured the company car parked in the coveted Plant Director’s parking spot at the front of the Assembly Plant. A big thanks for Mark2021C8+ on the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com for capturing the Riptide Blue coupe.
Update
We originally referred to the color of Raymond’s car as being Rapid Blue when it was in fact Riptide Blue.
