Carbon Fiber Wheels for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray are Currently on Constraint

The Order Guide for the 2024 Corvettes has only been out for about two weeks now, and we just learned of an update regarding the E-Ray’s carbon fiber wheels.

With the wheels of the E-Ray being the exact same as the Z06, Chevy has made the decision to make the three versions of Carbon Fiber wheels available for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray, the first hybrid-electric sports car from GM. However, a distribution update on the Order Guide is now telling us that the three versions of Carbon Fiber wheels are “Not available at this time.”

Luckily, E-Ray orders won’t be paired with allocations until August 17th when the first round of E-Ray orders are accepted, so we’ll have to wait and see whether or not this distribution update will still be in place when E-Ray orders open up.

It’s going to be interesting to see just how many E-Ray buyers opt for the lightweight Carbon Fiber wheels, especially when the dedicated E-Ray five-spoke forged aluminum wheels appear to be one of the lightest alloy wheels in the C8 line-up.

Maybe someone needs to run a poll on this!
