[SPIED] A Tale of Two 2024 Corvette E-Rays Both Wearing Red Mist


Any E-Ray fans out there considering Red Mist as your exterior? I got some inspiration today as two different E-Rays both in Red Mist crossed my timeline. Not only that, but the sightings contain different models to compare as one is a Coupe and the other is a Convertible, plus they are wearing different wheels.


First up is a nice little walk around of the 2024 Corvette E-Ray as spotted by “carsandmiore365” in the parking lot of the National Corvette Museum. The car is wearing Kentucky dealer plates which likely means the car is being driven by someone who works next door at the Corvette Assembly Plant.

We really like the curb appeal of this E-Ray with the Red Mist exterior, black nacelles and roof, and of course the gorgeous visible Carbon Fiber wheels which goes very well with the visible Carbon Fiber ground effects. Inside is a Black and Tan two-tone interior. Very sharp! One other point we can agree on with this CTF is the Chrome emblem and CORVETTE lettering on the rear, along with the brighter E-Ray badge under the side intakes which gives it just the right amount of bling.


The second Red Mist E-Ray was posted to the C8 Z06 and E-Ray Facebook Page by Brandon Young. Brandon says he spotted the E-Ray in Davison, Michigan.

With this sighting, we have the Coupe version in Red Mist and we believe those are the base Pearl Nickel 5-spoke wheels with red brake calipers hiding behind them. Opposite of the Convertible which went dark wheels and bright emblems, the Coupe features the Black emblems and E-Ray badge on the side. Other than the body color lip spoiler which comes standard, there is not much else that can be spied here. But it’s also a good looking combination:

So now you’ve seen two E-Rays in Red Mist configured very differently from each other. For me, I would prefer a combination of the two and go with the Pearl Nickel five-spoke wheels on the Convertible. How would do yours?

  1. They both look great in Red Mist, but the way the convertible is spec’d out I think it especially looks killer.

  2. Never Red Mist over Torch Red; Always body color Top & Nacelles; with the 5 spoke gloss black wheels & bright red calipers!!!!

  4. Mine will be a silver vert with the two tone black and gray seats. At least a 2LT with runflats.
