Check out this unrestored 1965 Corvette convertible in a rare triple white color combo, now available at the asking price of $69,999 on craigslist near Portland, Oregon.
You likely won’t see many Sting Rays like this one, with its Ermine White paint said to have been redone about 30 years ago, along with a white ragtop said to be in “excellent” condition and a white leather seats and door panels (with black dash).
The humble owner says he feels “very fortunate to have been the custodian of this time capsule all these years” and now he’s just “hoping to find a new home for this rare color combination and part of our automotive history.”
He’s owned the car for eight years and while admitting it’s “not a perfect trophy show car,” he feels the price “reflects that.”
The car – with 82,000 miles showing on the odometer – features a numbers-matching drivetrain with a 327/300 horsepower V8 engine, hooked to a four-speed manual transmission.
Like most of the Corvettes that day, this one is not big on frilly options like air conditioning (chosen by only 2,423 customers), power steering (3,236), or power brakes (4,044). Oddly enough, though, it does have power windows, an option on just 3,809 of the 23,564 cars built in ’65.
