[VIDEO] Watch this Rescue of a Huge Barn Find Collection of Six Midyear Corvettes

If you’ve ever wondered what C2 Corvette Heaven looks like, you might catch a glimpse in this new video from the guys at “Horsepower Depot.”

Their latest 30-minute video hits the highlights of a wonderful day where they brought nine trucks and eight trailers with them to load up their purchase of a gentleman’s collection of six mid-year Sting Rays that have apparently been off the road for decades, including a couple of numbers-matching cars, one a 427/390 ’66 coupe and the other a convertible with a small-block 327.

Four other Sting Rays were included in the deal, with a first-year ’63 convertible updated with 1965 or 1966 fender louvers, one with a race-spec engine, another dismantled for restoration, and another a rolling chassis convertible.

But that wasn’t all they bought. In what appears to be the basement room of the garage were rows and rows of parts, including five hardtops, 11 steering wheels plus two more real teak wheels, stacks of hubcaps, NOS side pipes, and many, many more miscellaneous parts.

Indeed, you could have a swap meet just from the parts this gentleman had gathered over the years, and now Horsepower Depot plans to do a series of videos in the coming months, telling us about each of the cars.

I know it’s hard to find a half-hour to spare these days, but it’s worth watching the whole show, especially once all six of the cars are pulled out of the garage and parked in the yard. It’s not every day you see such a sight!
