As we close the hood on the 2023 Bloomington Gold Corvette show, it’s time for our traditional vanity plates gallery. Hopefully you’ve already had a chance to peep our full show wrap up, Gold Collection, and Midyear Monday articles from the this year’s event.

The important research for our 2nd vanity plate gallery of 2023 led us all over the show grounds on the campus of Illinois State University. During our travels we picked up on a couple of themes this time around. The first one was the owner’s names on their tags like KENS Z06 and SCOTTT among others. Then there’s always the tags that describe the car like MY427435 on 1967 big block, 427 TRI on 1969 big block, and STNGRAY on, well, a C7 Stingray.

FUELIE is a very appropriate vanity plate from Bloomington Gold

We thought FLYIN LO was appropriate for a red C7 while CRVT succinctly summed up an equally red C6. USA ZR1 was attached to a Cyber Gray C6 ZR1 and Z06 12 was on a new silver 2023 Z06. 1980 C3 and VET2012 helped us discern exactly what year Corvette we were ogling. We can all relate to MY HIGH when we’re driving our Corvettes and we sure hope SKYNRD feels like a free bird when behind the wheel of their ride. Finally, we’d love to hear the side exhaust on UBNOUS or just hit the road with ROUTE66. While gathering photos we noticed cars from as far away as New York, Arizona, Florida, and even California. That just goes to show how far people are still willing to travel for the granddaddy of Corvette shows.

Hat’s off to you once again, Corvette Nation. You continue to find new and creative ways to use the available characters on your tags. Enjoy our gallery of plates from Bloomington Gold below. See your plate? Give yourself a shout out in the Comments section. Have a cool plate on your ride? Post it up on our Facebook page.

We now proudly present our Corvette vanity plate gallery from the 2023 Bloomington Gold Corvette Show.

  1. Ya I got rid of my vanity plates. The second time I had to shell out over double the cost just for friggen tags I said “Not worth it”.

  2. klw I got rid of mine too. I’m right there with you on “Not worth it”. With the price of everything going up I decided I didn’t want to waste my money on that vanity plate bullshit anymore.
