[PIC] Your Morning Dose of Caffeine

The MidEngineCorvetteForum’s super moderator Brad66 makes it a point to check out Corvette Boulevard at the National Corvette Museum every morning to see what Corvettes will be delivered via the R8C Museum Delivery Program. This morning Brad came across a first for him as two Caffeine Corvette Stingrays were positioned across from each other on the Boulevard.

According to Brad, “I don’t think this has happened before, two Caffeine Stingrays on Corvette Blvd.”

Caffeine has been at the bottom of exterior colors produced for the 2023 model year, and according to Corvette Product Manager Harlan Charles from the NCM Bash, the color comes in at 1% for both the Stingray and the Z06.

With Corvette’s elevated production for the model year which has already seen 38,100 non-70th Anniversary Corvettes built for 2023, 1% comes in at 381 Corvettes finished in Caffeine Metallic. There may be some give-and-take with those numbers, and they are certainly smaller if you break it out by model with approximately 30 Caffeine Z06s and 351 Stingrays produced in the boutique color.

Caffeine was declared non-orderable by Chevrolet on May 9th, marking the end of the color first introduced in 2022. These could be among the final Caffeine C8s to come off the line.

Brad is also seeing two white 70th Anniversary Z06s on the floor as well. So far, the 70th Anniversary models consist of 599 Z06s and 3,719 Stingrays for a total of 4,318 anniversary editions completed.

  1. That is one ugly color OK when the sun is on it it sparkles when it’s not it is brown a very depressing color. Brown with black stripes is worse.

  2. Man someone flush the toilet. Glad this color will be discontinued. Next turd color will be Cacti green. Save these colors for the want to be sporty cars.
