ACS Composite Introduces the 7VM Side Rocker for the C8 Corvette Stingray

Our friends at ACS Composite are always pushing the boundaries with fresh new designs for the C8 Corvettes because they know enthusiasts love to make their Corvettes stand apart from the other C8 Stingrays out there. Today, that means introducing their fifth Rocker design to their C8 Corvette Stingray product line-up which they call the ACS 7VM Side Rocker.

As ACS celebrates this release that has been two years in the making, we’ll show you all five of the C8 Rockers available from ACS Composite, as well as the perfect C8 Front Splitter to complement the new 7VM Rockers.

7VM Side Rockers for the C8 Corvette

The ACS 7VM Rockers are molded via plastic injection using their proprietary PC composite material which is very durable. Unlike carbon fiber rockers that have a white substrate material, PC Composite is colored black so any chips or scrapes are barely noticeable. The rockers are top coated with Carbon Flash Metallic black to perfectly match the C8 Corvette accent pieces on the Corvette including the front grill, rear diffuser, and more.


ACS utilizes the three OEM mounting points along with a supplied rocker bracket and aluminum split rivets to mount the 7VM side rockers. These new rockers are installed the exact same way as the other C8 Rockers from ACS Composite, and they are interchangeable with each other. Unlike the dealer-installed 5VM rockers, there is no drilling into the side of the body required, so installation is reversable.

5VM Side Rockers for the C8 Corvette

If you are in the camp that loves the aggressive posture of the OEM 5VM C8 side skirts with the signature winglets in front of the rear wheels, ACS Composite has improved upon GM’s design with their ACS 5VM Carbon Flash Rockers for the C8 Corvette. Like the 1VM rockers, ACS has created an undertray extension to the side rockers which offers protection to the rolled painted body panel underneath the C8, and ACS uses a custom-designed rocker bracket that doesn’t require the side hole to be drilled as is the case with the dealer-installed OEM version.

1VM Side Rockers for the C8 Corvette

ACS 1VM C8 Rockers offers the elegant look and protection of side rockers on your C8 Corvette without the wings found on the 5VM rocker panels. The 1VM rockers were inspired from Corvette Racing’s C8.R “barge board” which features a straight-back and step-out design that covers the side of the car from the front wheel well to the rear wheel well. The result is a functionally purpose-built rocker extension that doesn’t draw away from the overall package. For those that want a more conservative look on their C8s without the wings, the 1VM Rockers and Front Splitter is the way to go.

C8 Z06 Side Rocker for C8 Corvette Stingray

On the new C8 Corvette Z06, everything is bigger and that starts with the aero. ACS Composite’s new C8 Z06 Rockers for the Stingray replicate the same design of the C8 Corvette Z06’s side rockers for your C8 Stingray. These are nearly two inches wider than the OEM Z51 Rockers, and they cover 3/4ths of the side of the car. Finished in Carbon Flash Metallic, the rockers show a notch design and beveled edge like those on the Z06. The larger Z06 Rocker enhances the stance and side profile of the Stingray, and it looks like it absolutely belongs on the car.


The C8 Z06 Side Rockers for the Stingray are priced at $749 per pair and shipping is free.

C8 Z51 Rockers for the C8 Corvette Stingray

For base Corvette owners that want their cars to look like the Z51s that came from the factory, the C8 Z51 Side Rocker is here. It’s the perfect addition to highlight the C8’s lower spear while also offering some limited protection from road debris or rock chips. The OEM versions of the C8 rocker and Z51 splitter were in a textured black finish that is both flexible and scratch resistant. ACS offers the ability to upgrade to Carbon Flash Metallic Black for a more elegant look that also matches the other trim and vents on your C8 Stingray.
