We got these two photos in our inbox Thursday evening with no details other than it was a bad crash on Interstate 64 in Southern Indiana.

It appears an 18-wheeler slammed into the rear of a Jack Cooper Auto Transport carrying a load of C8 Corvettes. The cab of the truck ended up on the bottom position of the trailer, and were not real sure what happened to that car if there was one there.

The transporter appears to have eight Corvettes and we don’t really see any tail tell signs of a Z06, but we are unable to identify the wheels on the top rear position.

What a crazy mess. We sure hope the driver of that red truck is okay. We’ll update with any further news.

Update Sadly, WLKY is reporting that one person is dead in this crash, which happened when the Corvette transporter was merging onto the interstate when it was hit from behind. The crash happened on Thursday at 4:00 PM.
