Holy Corvette, Batman, what a sharp-looking Corvette!
If the Caped Crusader suddenly goes missing from Gotham City, you might look for him behind the wheel of this black C3 Corvette in Tampa, Florida.
Featuring a front license plate with a Batman logo, this 1981 Corvette is being offered for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $22,000.
You can even see this Corvette in action in a short video clip posted online, and the all-black exterior that includes aftermarket black wheels fits the Batman theme well.
One of 40,606 coupes produced in 1981 – a year which saw split production in St. Louis, Missouri and Bowling Green, Kentucky, this car has a stock Camel interior that looks to be in pretty good condition, based on the photos with the listing, along with a custom AM/FM/CD sound system and custom woodgrain on the console.
The car has what appears to be its stock 350 V8 engine, just with the increased bling of chrome valve covers and breather, and whether it’s been upgraded with more horsepower isn’t said in the ad. But we are told there’s a new carburetor, and that the car “runs good,” the seller says.
We’ve always loved the look of the last three years of the third generation, even stock, and this one adds a little “oomph” to the appearance with the black wheels. What do you think, Robin?

I would so love to have that 81. It’s wicked in black with black wheels. Removing the Batman license plate would be the very first thing I would do to it. I outgrew Batman when I was ten years old.
