[VIDEO] Corvettes for Sale: John Cena's Custom Corvette-Based InCENArator

Growing up, probably every little kid fantasized about creating their very own dream car.

For pro wrestler/movie star John Cena, that dream has just become a reality with his custom new ride created by Parker Brothers Concepts in Florida.

“I want everybody to say, what the hell is this?” Cena says of the car, nicknamed the “InCENArator” and the subject of a segment of his TV show “Dream Machines” that previously aired on the Syfy network.

Standing in the cockpit of the car, Cena talks about the one-of-a-kind InCENArator as flames shoot high into the air behind him.

“This is a road car,” he explains. “I didn’t want a one-off concept trailer queen that I put in a little turnstile, put velvet ropes around, don’t really touch it. This thing is gonna be driven. It’s gonna get some miles on it.”

Marc Parker, half of the Parker Brothers Concepts team, says they grew up watching the WWE so “to have John Cena as a client is a huge thing for us.”

He says the team builds “things that are a lot more bizarre than what normal people are used to seeing, which is fun. We get to push the envelope a lot here.”

Brother Shannon points out, “I don’t think [he’ll] be able to use the flame thrower while he’s driving down the road, probably could cause a little bit of an accident.”

The InCENArator’s futuristic looks certainly turned heads going down a city street in an older YouTube video promoting the show. While it’s based on a Corvette C7.R race car, it definitely looks nothing like that now. Check out the unusual glass canopy that opens to allow ingress and egress from the vehicle, along with the LED headlights and daytime running lights, deep-dish chrome wheels, and two-tone silver and black paint.

One reminder of the original C7.R that did stay behind quite literally (it’s been moved to the back of the cabin) is the 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine built by Pratt & Miller, pumping out 493 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque.

Cena “definitely expressed the things he wanted to see in this build,” Marc says.

“Something that I think may be cool, that we may be able to use,” Cena explains, “the words hustle, loyalty, and respect.”

He says the Parker Brothers are “building automobiles 50 years ahead of their time.” After spinning donuts as a passenger in the car before the body was installed, Cena quips, “We’re gonna need two new tires and a clean pair of shorts.”

While the InCENArator may be Cena’s dream machine, you can still own it. It’s currently for sale for a whopping $425,000.

  1. “Silly Car”! A modern-day version of the “Corvette Summer” car.

  2. I think that they did an admirable job. I like it with the exception of the stacks emanating from the rear hatch. I don’t like that feature as it cheapens the look, making it look like a Matchbox car.

So far, I am in the minority, but as goes the ole saw; “There’s an a__ for every seat!”

  3. I wouldn’t want that ugly piece of shit if somebody gave it to me. It’s a terrible waste of a Corvette C7.R.
