[VIDEO] Bagged Liberty Walk C8 Corvette with Three-Piece Variant Wheels


It’s the end of the week and so if you’re killing some time waiting for the weekend, let us introduce you to some cool custom wheels for your Corvette from Variant Wheels. The company recently shared this Liberty Walk C8 Corvette project that’s wearing their CRT-3P custom wheels.

These three-piece forged wheels are part of Variant’s Corsa Collection. Crafted from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, these wheels can be customized by diameter, width, offset, and your choice of up to 15 different finishes.

The CRT-3P Wheel offers some unique design features including the ability to have custom finishes on the wheel face, barrel, and outer lip, as well as the hardware and center caps so you get just the look you want. The Liberty Walk C8 Corvette is riding on 19×9.5 and 20×12 wheels finished in Battleship Gray and Gloss Black to contrast with the Corvette’s Orange exterior.

  5. Ok first thing, do NOT!! ever let anyone from Japan touch these cars. Probably the ugliest POS I have seen, the wheels are crap, wide body is crap. The Japs should leave our awesome car alone and screw their own shit up. The wheels look like they came from a Lego set. What an embarrassment. Liberty Walk is a joke.

  6. I don’t think old school looking deep dish wheels cut it on the C8. If you want to go deep I think a concave wheel with spokes that come out at least close to the outer rim is the only way to go on the C8.

  11. Well Keith, the writer of this article, do you need glasses? You actually wrote that these are “some cool custom wheels” really??? I agree with the other commenters on here, they are ugly and have to be one of the ugliest wheels I have ever seen, hell I had this up on my screen and my wife was walking by and saw the car and said, What the hell is that, those wheels are hideous. I wouldn’t take them for free, because I would have a hard time trying to get rid of them, YUCK!

    We can denigrate this repulsive monstrosity of a build without stooping to ethnic slurs. We’re Corvette guys, let’s keep it classy.

    That said, while design style is subjective, what’s objective is that air springs destroy the prosper road manners of any high performance vehicle. Installing them on a C8 is beyond asinine.
