Even though the factory warranty may not be honored by General Motors because it’s being sold less than six months after the original purchase, this 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Coupe being sold on carsandbids.com has already surpassed its original MSRP by more than $45,000.
Three days remain in the auction, and the highest of 10 bids has already climbed to $177,000 – well above the MSRP of $131,255.
This Chevy supercar, of course, features widebody panels along with the standard LT6 flat-plane crank engine that pumps out 670 horsepower with a redline of 8600 RPM and was built by a person named Simmie Green.
Furthermore, this black beauty is an upgraded 3LZ model (with a base price of $119,150) with goodies like Magnetic Selective Ride Control, Heated and Ventilated Seats, Front and Rear Vision Cameras, Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Trim and Paddles, Custom Leather Wrapped Interior Package, Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Upper Interior Package, Head-Up Display, and Performance Data and Video Recorder.
It then includes another $10,710 worth of options – including Front Lift, Transparent Roof Panel, Bright Red Painted Brake Calipers, Stealth Interior Trim Package, Red Engine Intake, 2-Tone Seats in black and red, Spider Black Aluminum Wheels, Torch Red Seat Belts, Black Exhaust Tips, Painted Rear Corvette Script, and Torch Red Premium Carpeted Floor Mats.
Apparently, losing the factory warranty isn’t a big concern for the people who are bidding on this car. How high do you think this one will end up going?

It looks badass in black with black wheels. Losing the factory warranty would be a deal breaker for me, even if I could afford the car. I would move on the next one I come across.
Will it be the next LT6 to grenade?
There’s such a thing as making a profit…but those that spend ($$$) money like that have, as the saying goes, more money than brains!
If people didn’t buy stupid…bandits like these sellers, wouldn’t exist!
Not enough torque. Waiting on a ZR1
