[VIDEO] 2023 Corvette Z06 Making Some Quarter Mile Passes vs McLaren Artura and Huracan Evo

We just came across this fun day at the track for a 2023 Corvette Z06 and its owner who line up against both a McLaren Artura and a Lamborghini Evo. Apparently, the weather wasn’t quite ideal for the dragstrip, and the Corvette came in the slowest of all three times, but any day at the track is better than a day at work.

The camera work wasn’t ideal either, and we never did see the times from the quarter mile races on the timing boards, but the OP tells us in the comments that the Z06’s best time was 10.8 at @ 124 mph. The Lambo was second with a best time of 10.7 at @ 129 mph and first was the Artura at 10.4 @ 136 mph. The Z06 driver says, “all of them can go faster just not ideal weather conditions.”

On the plus side, the track does appear to be well-prepped as the Corvette Z06 Convertible did seem to hook-up quickly on the launches. And can I say that I am digging that Corvette Racing Jake graphic on the C8Z’s rear quarters.

New 2023 Z06 Convertible gets put to the test against a new Artura and Huracan Evo in a 1/4 Mile. Weather wasn’t ideal with +2,000DA and head winds unfortunately.

  1. The LT6 should have been the base engine for the C8, and the ZO6 should have got the LT7, especially for the prices that GM is asking. Corvette needs a GT model with a twin turbo V8 at the same $105k price point that the Eray and ZO6 already share.

  2. GM should have stuck to their winning formula and put a supercharger on it. What Lingenfelter has done with the C8 and a Magnuson is pure magic. THAT’s what the Z06 should’ve been.

  3. GM WILL SELL MORE CORVETTES WHEN THE ZR1 COMES OUT WITH LT6 TT

AND THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF DEMAND FOR THIS CAR
