BLOGGER BUILDS: Steve Garrett and Jeremy Welborn Offer Their Favorite Z06 Builds

With the release of the Build and Price Configurator for the 2023 Corvette Z06, each of the CorvetteBlogger writers are sharing their dream builds, and then we’ll have a vote-off so you can determine the best Z06 configured. We have our final two builds for you, and we will vote tomorrow!

First, I chose the Z06 Coupe because I wanted to see that record-breaking LT6 engine through the glass! I love the Hardtop Convertible, but you’ve got to be able to see that engine! Even though it’s not yet on the configurator, I’m planning to add the Carbon Fiber engine cover and X-Brace later on.

Second, I chose the exterior color of Ceramic Matrix Gray for 2 reasons…my wife likes that color, and it offers a great contrast to the Dipped Red Interior that I chose, which I am very excited about. I even choose black seatbelts to give some contrast to the interior!

Third, if you know me, you know I LOVE Carbon Fiber! So I chose the exposed Carbon Fiber wheels and the Carbon Fiber 2 interior for this build, along with the Z07 Package and the exposed Carbon Fiber Aero Package!

Our good friend Jeremy has been tied up lately, but did offer to send us his favorite build. Since I have the ability to review it in Chevy’s Build and Price Configurator, I’m featuring it here. Jeremy also participated in our first Blogger Builds and also built a Torch Red Coupe, so we know he is serious about the color.

Jeremy built a Z06 Coupe in Torch Red with the full length dual racing stripes in Carbon Flash Metallic. For this exercise, Jeremy added the Z07 Performance Package, visible carbon fiber ground effects and aero package, and then tied those together with the visible carbon fiber wheels. He also has the carbon flash outside mirrors and Black exhaust tips selected.

On the inside we find a 3LZ interior with the new Adrenaline Red Dipped leather interior. Jeremy kept the GT2 seats and the default black seatbelts remain as well. New premium carpeted floor mats were included as were the all-weather Jake logo floor liners for when the weather is bad. Finally, the stealth interior and level 2 Carbon Fiber interior trim packages were added and a personalized plaque with his R8C Museum Delivery.
