Chevrolet Launches Build and Price Configurator for the 2023 Corvette Z06

The long-awaited Build and Price Configurator for the 2023 Corvette Z06 has finally gone live at Chevrolet.com. Click here to get started on building your Z06.

While some enthusiasts have been using spreadsheets and other means to chart their build prices, the Build and Price Configurator offers Chevy’s latest generation shopping tool which offers instant feedback on what each package or option will cost. It doesn’t take too many options to see how fast that price can go up.

We selected a Red Mist Z06 Coupe with the Jet Black interior and added the 3LZ trim group, Z07 Performance Package, and the visible carbon fiber ground effects and wheels which put us at $156,025 without any further options added. But since we’re not playing with real money, we loaded the car further with a custom Jet Black/Adrenaline Red two-tone interior with the custom steering wheel, Front Lift, and R8C Museum Delivery which puts us at $162,095. That price by the way also includes the $1,395 destination charge and the $3,000 Gas Guzzler tax for selecting the Z07 package. During the process, you can check out your build in these high resolution renderings:

Switching gears, I configured a Z06 “budget-build” with a 1LZ trim package and standard aluminum Spider wheels but opted for the carbon flash metallic aero package that added $8,495 to the price but gives the car the “Z07” look with the rear high wing. That addition though also adds $8,495 for Brembo’s carbon ceramic brakes. Altogether, that build comes in at $126,685 without any other options. Dropping the high wing (which removes the requirement for the J57 brakes brings the price down to $109,295 which is likely the lowest you can go on any Z06 build.

For our final build, we did a 3LZ Z06 Convertible with the 70th Anniversary package which comes in at $136,140. Adding the Z07 package for $8,995 also requires a choice of ground effects, so add $10,495 for the visible carbon fiber aero package that includes the high wing. Now we start with some of the fun customizations. The 70th Anniversary interior look best with the addition of the Competition Sport seats and the level 2 carbon fiber interior package, so both of those were added. Front Lift is a must-have option so we picked up that and also added the black exhaust tips to our Carbon Flash Metallic Convertible. With the final addition of the R8C Museum Delivery, our price comes in at $166,610.

  1. Well i have a deposit down and i am sure i will never see a car. But my build comes to just under 112K with guzzler tax and delivery. All i realyl want is the car not the bells and whistles. I do not see assemble your engine option that is one i did want.

  2. My Mother said if you don’t have anything positive to say, don’t say anything. I plead the 5th!

  3. Don’t forget to add the $50,000 to $75,000 dealer mark-up, since GM doesn’t care about it’s customers getting screwed, the mark-ups are apparently a “must-have” option also.

  4. Ciocca Chevrolet to whom I have given my deposit guarantees MSRP. So I am not worried about the markup. Just if Chevrolet ever builds enough cars
