[VIDEO] C7 Z06 Battles a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat for Quarter Mile Supremacy

Consistency is the name of the game for this C7 Z06 that recently competed on the strip against a more powerful Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

All the action, captured in this grainy video posted on the Drag Racing and Car Stuff channel on YouTube, went down at the Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida.

The Z06 emerges as a convincing winner in the first of the four eventual runs, posting a time of 11.24 seconds @ 123.94 mph to best the Hellcat’s mark of 11.59 @ 122.76 mph.

After changing lanes, the two cars square off again, and this time the Hellcat captures a narrow win, 11.49 @ 124.38 mph to 11.5 @125.06 mph.

Don’t fret, Corvette fans. The Z06 ends up taking the overall crown after two more runs of 11.407 and 11.441, whipping the Hellcat’s times of 11.512 and 11.662.
