[SPIED] 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible in Hypersonic Gray with 3LT Blue Interior

Ocean City, Maryland held its 31st Annual Crusin’ Ocean City event with over 3,000 classic and custom cars, hot rods, street machines, and other vehicles taking to the streets during the weekend. One of those ‘hot rods’ attending the event was this 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible outfitted in Hypersonic Gray with the two-tone Blue interior.

One of the biggest questions this sighting generated has to do with the wheels the Z06 was wearing. According to our friends at the MidEngineCorvetteForum.com, these might be the Satin Graphite versions of the Z06’s Spider wheels although some others are thinking they are the machined-faced Spider wheels.

As a refresher, here are the four different Spider Wheels for the Z06:

Also looking really good on the car in our opinion are the Chrome Z06 badges which really pop against the Hypersonic Gray exterior.

But the real star of the show is the 5.5L flat-plane crank V8 engine and we get to hear the car wind up the RPM band as it made its turn and then accelerated down the road. It was a gentle acceleration, but that made the winding up sound from the LT6 all that much more enjoyable to listen to.

  1. Shame there is a 100 year waiting list (exaggeration) to buy one a new ZO6, or pay an extra $100K over MSRP 😭

  2. Well, the citizens of Dubai will be the first owners! Or you could get in the end of the list of one of those MSRP dealers and hope for people to die or go broke with the stock market and drop out before they stop making the C8 for the all electric C9.

I love the sound of that car and just hope the engine has longevity considering how much flat planes want to vibrate, particularly that large.
