It looks like somebody was having a little too much fun in their red C4 Corvette convertible in a small town in south central Alabama, just north of the Florida Panhandle.

Unfortunately for municipal employees in Brewton, they’re now left with repairing the damage caused by the driver as he and a passenger – in what appears to be a 1986 or 1987 Corvette – were having a good old time, practicing donuts in one of the city parks.

Fun-loving drivers like this would be wise to keep this warning from the Brewton Police Department in mind: “Our parks have cameras, and we will use those cameras to enforce the laws of our state and keep our citizens safe.”

Indeed, police say they have been able to verify that there were other citizens trying to enjoy a walk in the same park when this incident occurred.

Now, they are hoping someone out there will be able to use the photos of the occupant of the Corvette to identify him “so we can have a little meet and greet and also charge him with Criminal Mischief.”

The photos aren’t of very high quality and the windshield frame blocks the faces of the driver and his passenger in one and the license plate was unreadable in another.

If you still think you can identify the individuals in the Corvette, you are asked to contact Brewton Police Department at (251) 867-3212 or send them a message on Facebook.

  1. My god who gives a shit, BFD. Alabama is one of several shit hole states that should have better things to do. Old “Bama” has much worse to deal with. Anybody seen a MOPAR commercial lately?? Nothing but burnouts and doughnuts. Doesn’t sound like any of the people that were there complained so who gives a crap, probably broke up the boredom. Hope they get away with it.

  2. All the actual crime being committed and they want help solving the one with no victim but nets them some money in fines. Why is this nonevent even a news article here? Shouldn’t Corvette Blogger be applauding them rather than throwing a Corvette owner under the bus for using their car to do what it was MADE FOR?

Maybe this site should rename itself Miata Blogger and simp off to a track day somewhere.

  3. It’s unclear from the article what sort of damage was done, but from the pictures it looks like some dirt was “tore up”. Criminal mischief seems like a stretch and a way for the city to pay for some sod they needed anyway. At least I now know never to move, or even drive through, this town.
