[SPIED] Right Hand Drive C8 Corvette Z06 Convertible in a Parking Lot Confirms Export Rumors

Filed under the category of “You Don’t See That Every Day,” a C8 Corvette Stingray owner named Daryl Wizinsky was out driving his Rapid Blue C8 HTC when he came across a Right Hand Drive 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible! We’ve known that the Z06 would be headed for export after Chevrolet expanded its offerings to RHD markets with the C8 Stingray, but seeing an “RHD C8 Z06/Z07 HTC” in the flesh just makes it all real.

General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) had previously confirmed the Z06 would be offered in right hand drive following the October 2021 reveal of the new supercar. Now those Corvette enthusiasts in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the U.K., and other RHD markets can see exactly what that future will look like!

The C8 Z06 here in the parking lot appears to be Ceramic Matrix Gray with the chrome emblems option. With the Z07 comes the carbon fiber high wing and carbon fiber wheels. I just can’t tell if the wheels are visible carbon or carbon flash from the video. The interior is the two-tone adrenaline red/black with Competition (?) seats.

  1. So, mystery solved. We finally know that the Z06 with CORNER exhaust (as seen in this video) will likely go to the UK, and maybe other RHD markets. Maybe it’s part of the requirements that go along with the gas particulate filter. Maybe it’s part of an RPO VPM Noise Control Modification.
