These are exciting times for the Corvette in general, and that translates into the same for the National Corvette Museum.

Leading the way for the 2022-2024 term will be these five people who will serve as board officers for the Museum, including Kai Spande, plant director at the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, who has been named chairman of the NCM Board of Directors after serving on the panel for six years.

“I’m grateful to our talented and knowledgeable board of directors for their constant leadership, collaborative nature, and dedication,” NCM President and CEO Sharon Brawner says. “The depth of Corvette knowledge among these specific leaders – especially GM Assembly Plant Director Kai Spande – is simply astounding. I know that the National Corvette Museum is sure to benefit from the influence of this board.”

Immediate Past Chairman is Glenn Johnson, who has been mayor of Port Neches, Texas for the past 20 years and is a member of the Tri-City Corvette Club in southeast Texas.

Kaye Wagner, a pediatric hematologist/oncologist for Sanford Health in South Dakota, is chair-elect.

Serving as board secretary will be Michael LaRocca, who is CEO of Ready Computing and Ready Motorsports.

Board treasurer is Neil Watanabe, who is CFO for Loop Media Inc., a premier content streaming company, and a former CFO for US Auto Parts Network, Inc.

You can see the entire board of directors and their resumes at the National Corvette Museum.
