Our friends over at the National Corvette Museum recently announced that registration is now open for their annual scholarship program. The $2,500 college scholarship for the 2022-2023 school is funded through a partnership with the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS).

The scholarship is open to NCM members and children or grandchildren of NCM members whose membership is current at the time of the application and subsequent award. Anyone related to an NCM employee or board member is not eligible. In addition, applicants will need to have been accepted into an accredited post-secondary school, technical school, college, or university where they plan to pursue a degree related to the automotive, museum, or non-profit industry, or a field that could work in those industries like HR, finance, marketing, or IT. A minimum of 12 credit hours per semester is required.

Applicants will need to document the source of their education funds such as additional grants or loans. In addition to the usual academics, extracurricular activities and any automotive, museum, or nonprofit volunteer experience will be considered as well.

The scholarships are given for a single academic year. The award is paid directly to the winner in September after they provide proper documentation of their successful school enrollment.

Registration is now open. The application form can be downloaded here and all submissions for the 2022-2023 academic year are due by February 28th, 2022. Updates on the program will be published through the NCM’s magazine, social media, website, and email lists.

For more information on the NCM’s scholarship program or to apply for it, head on over to the NCM’s website. Keep in mind that registration ends on Monday, February 28th. Good luck to all those who apply!
