[VIDEO] Caravaggio Reveals Unica Series 1 Package for the C8 Corvette

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind C8 Corvette, you might want to check out the latest offering from Canadian custom car manufacturing company, Caravaggio Corvettes.

The company announced Wednesday that in the second quarter of this year, it will start building a limited run of 30 cars in its new Unica Series 1, based on the Stingray and Z06 C8 Corvette but with redesigned carbon fiber bodies said to slice off 40 pounds over stock.

“We’ve made the Corvette a blank canvas for owners to design and build the one-off car of their dreams since 1986,” said John Caravaggio, founder and CEO of Caravaggio Corvettes.

“Our new Unica Series 1 is a natural evolution for Caravaggio Corvettes. We will offer 30 carbon fiber bodied C8 Corvettes with a sophisticated design that builds upon the current car’s design. The reimagined car has organic styling that combines the best of American sports car culture with the cultured lines of a European exotic.”

The Unica Series will offer owners extensive personal choices for their cars, he said.

“While we’re creating the first numbered and documented series in our history, no two cars will be alike,” said Caravaggio. “Each client will have a private consultation with me to create the Unica Series 1 C8 Corvette that matches their personality and taste. We will personalize their exterior color and wheel choices, bespoke the interior and choose any performance upgrades. The result will be a one-off car designed and built in the tradition of the great custom coach builders in Europe.”

Customers will be able to choose virtually any paint color in the world, “limited only by a client’s imagination and paint manufacturer,” the company said in a press release. Caravaggio is known for its beautiful interiors, and the Unica Series will include full handcrafted leather inside, along with bold colors for seats and stitching, matte carbon pieces, Alcantara accents, thumb grips on the steering wheel, and even stripes or badging inside that mirrors the exterior color.

Performance upgrades will also be available, including a supercharger, Brembo brakes, additional cooling, new wheels, and engine tuning.

Packages start at $110,000, not including the Stingray or Z06. The company is accepting orders now, with production slated to begin in the second quarter of this year at the company’s facility in Concord, Ontario, Canada.
