Corvette Convertible Receives Runner-Up Honors in iSeeCars’ Best Used Cars Study

Chalk up two more honors for the Chevrolet Corvette.

Based on iSeeCars’ current list of the best used vehicles from 2018-22, the seventh and eighth generation of the Corvette finished as runner-up behind the Porsche 911 in two categories: Best Used Luxury Sports Cars and Best Used Luxury Convertibles.

iSeeCars came up with the rankings in several categories after analyzing more than 12 million cars in an attempt to help consumers better navigate the used car buying process.

“The winners are cars that are the longest lasting, hold their value the best, and have the highest average safety ratings from the National Highway Transit Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety,” iSeeCars says.

In both categories, they gave the Corvette a Quality Score of 8.5, with a Reliability Score of 8.6 and Retained Value Score of 8.5. iSeeCars praised the Corvette for its “excellent value, rapid acceleration, and sleek and upscale interior.”

Two other GM cars made the list as runners-up, including the Buick Encore behind BMW X1 in the Best Luxury Subcompact SUV and the Chevrolet Camaro behind the Ford Mustang in the Best Used Sports Car.
