[SPIED] Two 2023 Corvette Z06 Preproduction CTFs on an Auto Transporter

Tadge Juechter, call your office!

The two Z06 prototypes were spied without covers on the rear of a Jack Cooper auto transporter, although the location where the video was taken is unknown.

Could these 2023 Corvette Z06 preproduction prototypes be heading to Detroit for members of the Corvette engineering team? Word on the street is that Corvette Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter and other key engineers haven’t yet received their Captured Test Fleet (CTF) evaluation cars, and the lack of sightings in the wild since the official reveal in October would seem to lend credence to that rumor.

As for the video, the camera pans down the side of the transporter which is filled with new 2022 Stingrays wrapped in the transport covers. But on top, we see the two uncovered prototypes: an Arctic White Z06 with a Z07 rear wing and carbon fiber wheels, while the second in line is an Elkhart Lake Blue C8Z also with the Z07 wing, but it’s optioned with the forged wheels.

This is the first time we’ve seen Arctic White and Elkhart Lake Blue on the Z06 although this is more of a glimpse than an actual preview. However, it’s good to know there are a couple more prototypes ready to take on some real-world testing.

With the addition of the two new colors, I made this list of the Z06s we’ve seen so far in production paint:

Red Mist
Silver Flare
Hypersonic Gray
Amplify Orange
Accelerate Yellow
Torch Red
Arctic White
Elkhart Lake Blue
