How excited is Chevrolet to start building the all-new 2023 Corvette Z06? They are so excited that they have released this important build-out and start-up dates to dealers a full five order cycles ahead of time to help them manage their customer’s expectations as to how all of this is going to shake out.

We learned of these dates from our friend Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti whose short video covers these important details just released by GM. However, Rick stresses that these dates are called “initial” which raises the possibility that they could change. He also says that the new Z06 isn’t specifically listed as starting production on these dates, but our feeling so far is that there will be no delay in Chevy building the Z06 once the 2023s begin production.

Here is what you need to know about the end of the 2022 model year and the start-up of the 2023s:

2022 Corvette Model Year
   – Production ends May 6th
   – Last Order Cycle March 17th

2023 Corvette Model Year
   – Inital production start May 9th
   – First Allocation Cycle/Order Entry March 31st
   – Preorder Dates are TBA

Thanks for the update, Rick!!

  1. Great! So what about their current backlog? Maybe someone forgot to tell them that there are still many people who have been waiting patiently for their ’21s and ’22s?
