[VIDEO] More Details on the Lingenfelter Magnuson C8 Corvette Supercharger System

Our friend Ken Lingenfelter is out in Las Vegas this week for the SEMA Show and one of the new products he is showing off is the new Lingenfelter Magnuson Supercharger System for the C8 Corvette. The new supercharger package has been in the works for over a year and now a new video gives us all the details.

Magnuson’s TVS 2650 serves as the heart of the system and it boosts the horsepower of the C8 Corvette Stingray from the stock 495 hp to 705 hp. The supercharger integrates seamlessly with all the C8 Corvette’s factory systems with the inclusion of a patent-pending drive system that retains the factory belt-line and stock location of the dry-sump oil system.

Lingenfelter says the key to optimum supercharger performance is cool dense intake air temperatures. The performance experts at Lingenfelter have engineered a high-efficiency charge air intercooler to optimize the airflow through a unique heat exchanger system that includes a 1.5 gallon self-purging coolant reservoir tank. A Lingenfelter ECM manages boost pressure and airflow and works in conjunction with the Corvette’s factory ECM to manage the system.

  1. I wonder if the launch control and traction control systems would be able to handle the extra power of the stage 1, and if there would be adequate clearance and enough air for it in the convertible under the shield.

  2. NICE!! new clutch pack is need also & change the drive shafts as people snap them too. Glad they added more brakes as most fail to upgrade those. I’m glad they published the torque figures as ProCharger failed to do so on their kit.
