It may not have the latest technology or the most powerful engine, but this 2002 Corvette convertible up for auction on Bring a Trailer will still provide plenty of fun times for the new owner, especially with its six-speed manual transmission.
With four days to go in the bidding, the offer stands at $23,250 – not bad for a Corvette that originally listed for $54,730 and has been driven just 320 miles!
That’s right – just 320 miles on this black over black leather convertible whose 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine produces 350 horsepower and 375 ft-lb of torque.
The car also features the Preferred Equipment Group with dual-zone A/C, fog lights, power memory seats, head-up display, auto-dimming mirrors, tilt-tele steering, polished aluminum wheels and the Performance Handling Package. We’re sure there are still folks out there who might appreciate the remote 12-disc CD changer, though we prefer the more modern Apple Music.
Originally delivered to Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, Texas, the car had its first home in Oregon, where it remained until moving cross-country to Florida after the selling dealer bought it in 2020.
The car has a new battery and alternator and the oil has been changed. The new owner will receive manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, a clean Carfax, and a clear Florida title.
As you might expect, this car still looks like it could roll right onto a Chevy dealership floor and unsuspecting customers might think it was still 2002!
